BBC Documentary with SV2
We are collaborating with a TV production company called Candour to make a documentary for the BBC that will help people to understand more about how victims of rape are supported.
They are specifically looking for people who have been through the criminal justice process and whose cases have concluded within the last few years or are due to conclude this summer – with a successful conviction or otherwise.
They are currently not looking for historic cases.
The documentary filming will be sensitive and respectful and anyone who takes part will be able to see the edited version of their footage before broadcast.
We hope that the documentary will encourage people to access the support they need by demystifying the process and long-term support available for those who have experienced rape or sexual assault.
Candour are a trusted and BAFTA-winning production company who have made many films about sensitive subjects. You can visit their website and watch their previous films here: candour.tv
If you are interested in sharing your story and being involved in the documentary or finding out more, you can email Rebecca at Rcoxon@candour.tv who can arrange to have an informal chat with you, with no obligation to take part.
SV2 can support you during the process should you decide to take part.
