Chatterbox Cafe
The Chatterbox Cafe is hosted by a local church group at Kilburn Village Hall, Derbyshire. They meet every second Friday of the month and it’s run by a fabulous group of people.
Twice a year this voluntary group host a charity event, where all the money raised is donated to charity.
We rarely get the attention of a group selling coffee and cake. It was a great surprise when Terry, one of the members running the cafe, got in touch.
They had never heard of SV2, until someone they knew had been a victim of sexual violence and had accessed the service.
Being a close and supportive community, they wanted to help in any way they could.
On 5th October the Chatterbox Cafe showed their support for SV2, and invited staff member Becky to join for a slice of cake and cuppa.
They raised a super £250 and served some of the best baked-goods you could wish for!
Thank you so much to this lovely lot!
