Consent Workshops
SV2 delivers consent workshops to Year 9 and above in a variety of educational settings across Derbyshire. We believe that understanding consent helps to form healthy relationships and dispels societal myths about sexual abuse and rape.
The workshops are a combination of discussions, activities and videos. We encourage healthy debates and the opportunity to explore ideas. The workshop gives the young people a safe place to voice their opinions, ask questions and know they will be listened to.
At the end of the workshop young people will have a better understanding of consent and how to access support. We offer tailored content for different year groups right up to undergraduate students.

Training & Awareness For Professionals
We believe it is important for professionals to understand the impact of abuse and rape. Our sessions aim to help professionals feel more confident when responding to disclosures. We will provide information about SV2 services, how we can support those affected by sexual abuse/rape and how to make a referral. As part of the session our Learning and Development Officers will raise awareness of various trauma responses to help dispel myths and challenge societal views.
Community Development
At SV2 we are always looking to ensure our services are inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Our Community Development Officer is working with groups, organisations and communities throughout Derbyshire to understand and tackle barriers that people may have in accessing our services and ensure the service we offer meets the needs of everyone.

Online Learning Platform
SV2 offers an E-learning package with different modules to help enhance professionals knowledge and understanding around different types of Sexual Violence. The models include; Consent, Sexual Violence, Pornography, Grooming, Sexting, Child Sexual Exploitation and Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships.
The E-learning package is a resource to support professionals including within the Derbyshire Education Sector, specifically schools delivering the new RSE curriculum.
All delegates will be supported by SV2’s Learning and Development Officer in the event that additional learning support is required.
Our professional Sexual Abuse Awareness Seminar is CPD Certified.
