At SV2 we offer a counselling/therapy service for anyone regardless of their age, gender or when the assault/abuse took place.

Talking, creative and play therapies are available to children and young people for something that has happened either in the past or more recent.

Supporting Adults and Children. SV2 provides an ISVA service (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) for anyone who has been the victim of rape, sexual assault or abuse.

You can make an anonymous report to SV2, which involves giving as much information as you are comfortable with.

SV2 runs a 12 week support group twice a year, in January and September at Derby

The Derbyshire SARC provides confidential healthcare and compassionate support for adults (18 years and older) who have experienced any form of sexual assault. Their telephone 01332 413 260 is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Men can be victims of sexual assault or abuse. It is estimated that more than 70,000 men are sexually abused or assaulted in the UK every year.

A secondary survivor is a family member, partner, friend or anyone affected because someone they know or care about who has experienced sexual violence.

Holistic therapy refers to those treatments and therapies that help improve the wellbeing of the whole person; mind, body, soul/spirit and emotions.

SV2 have teamed up with Irwin Mitchell to provide free legal advice to survivors including Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority Claims and civil claims.
