Dr. Liz Hepplewhite – Chair
A GP for over 30 years and concerned about support by mental health and community services for victims of domestic violence and their families. Unique position, often looking after several members of the same family, so very aware how Sexual and Domestic violence can affect a whole family as well as the victim. Joined May 2016.
Mrs Helen Boffy – Treasurer
Helen is a retired graduate Chartered Public Finance Accountant with 25 years of post-qualification experience of accountancy, financial and strategic management in large public sector organisations, small charities, and community groups.
Eliza Arnfield
Eliza’s extensive experience in digital marketing and campaign analysis will improve awareness, communication and outreach to survivors. Additionally, her background in policing provides valuable insights into the challenges faced by survivors. Eliza is passionate about improving the approach to supporting survivors of sexual violence, particularly within LGBT+ groups, enabling her to contribute effectively to SV2’s mission.
Sarah Loates
Sarah Loates is a Chartered HR professional, founder and co-owner of Derby-based Loates HR Consultancy. Sarah wants to ensure that victims of sexual abuse do not let their experience limit their potential.
Andrew Oldroyd
Andy is a senior partner with Smith Partnership, a multi-discipline law firm. In his work within the criminal defence department, he has developed particular expertise in dealing with the young and vulnerable.
Andy works closely with all Criminal Justice Agencies. He is a defence representative on the Derbyshire Criminal Justice Board and chairs the Derby Law Society Crime Committee. He has also developed strong links with The University of Derby.
James Gormley
Helen Grieg
Helen is an experienced manager in the not-for-profit sector, operating at all levels from frontline to Chief Executive. Helen has predominantly worked in supported housing across a variety of specialist areas, as well as the National Housing Federation, the trade body for housing associations in England. For a year at the National Housing Federation, Helen was Project Director of Building Better, a social enterprise dedicated to encouraging social housing providers to get involved with development utilising modern methods of construction. Helen went on to become MD of WISH (Women in Social Housing) in December 2020, leading the business through a difficult year of ongoing pandemic and change. Helen graduated from her MBA at Nottingham University in 2018 with a distinction.
Helen started working with Trust Impact in May 2020, becoming a Director in September 2021, and Managing Director in September 2023. During that time Helen has led work with numerous charities and not-for-profit providers, co-ordinating impact strategies and bringing them to life through measurement and visualisation. Helen is also EDI rep on her local swimming committee.
